After 17 years service to RCV, Operational director Dave Barber has decided to hang his boots up, and taken early retirement. Managing Director Tim Pilbeam says ” Dave and I have built the business up over the years, and I will miss Dave’s experience and his attention to detail, always ensuring that his customers receive the best service possible. There is no doubt that all of us at RCV, as well as many customers will miss Dave, and I sincerely wish both his wife Donna and Dave the best of luck and fortune in the future”.
Mark Greenslade joins us from Caffyns Volkswagon as General Manager. Mark has had over 30 years in the motor trade, holding senior positions, such as after sales manager and head of business, for several franchises in the south east. Tim Pilbeam ” Welcome Mark to RCV! I am very pleased that we were able to find Mark, allowing him to head up a business that is not driven by manufacturers. I hope we can show Mark that the independent dealer has more to offer than the franchised motor dealer. Mark will offer a new dimension to RCV, and I look forward to working closely with Mark in the future.”
Mark says ” I am looking forward in taking RCV to the next level, in all aspects of the company. Dave is a very hard act to follow, but I hope that wealth of my experience in building and nurturing companies will hold me in good stead with the staff and customers. Running efficient workshop operations and after sales departments is second nature to me, and working with the Land Rover product. together with its loyal following, will be an exciting opportunity for me to grow the business”.
